Common Issues

TV not found

Make sure your iPhone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Your TV must be powered on and connected to the network. Some TVs require local network control, casting, or remote control features to be enabled in TV settings.

Connection failed

Restart the app and try scanning again. If the TV asks for pairing or permission, accept it on the TV screen. Some TV models or firmware versions may not support all remote-control features.

Voice search not working

Make sure microphone and speech recognition permissions are enabled for Pilo TV Remote in iOS Settings.

Casting not working

Local photos, videos, and supported music files can be cast when your TV supports compatible casting protocols. DRM-protected or subscription-only music, including protected Apple Music tracks, cannot be exported or cast.

Premium and purchases

Premium removes ads and unlocks advanced casting features. If you already purchased Premium, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases.

Privacy

Pilo TV Remote uses local network access to discover and control supported TVs nearby. Microphone and speech recognition permissions are used only when you start voice search. Photo, video, and music library access is used only when you choose media to cast.
